I’m a Capricorn sun, Virgo moon, and Capricorn rising — an earth sign through and through. My friends always say “that makes so much sense.” My parents also say I’m an “old, Sicilian soul.” For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a doer and entrepreneur…practical and career-driven…and the definition of a people person. I’m happiest when in community with family and friends, meeting new people, and so on. I love bringing people together from all sides of the universe and creative world, and I’m super passionate about creating space and hosting experiences that inspire human connection and discovery. That’s why I started Discovery Diary — an event series and creative community that empowers vintage enthusiasts, emerging designers, and intentional brands, many of which are led by talented, strong women (shoutout Presley & Alden!). Inspired by my own community of fellow female entrepreneurs, alongside my lifelong obsession with flea markets and shopping secondhand, Discovery Diary events represent a melting pot of ideas. In our collective passions, experiences, and stories, vendors and guests feel unity as community and in the power of collaboration. Fun fact: My grandmother Charlotte owned an antique shop in the 70s called Sorrentino’s Collectibles on the legendary Magnolia Blvd in Burbank, CA. She passed before I was born, but I’ve been told was my twin flame. Like her, I collect everything from vintage jewelry, shoes, home decor, and art. The apple clearly didn’t fall very far from the tree because nowadays I’m following in her footsteps while following my dreams with Discovery Diary :’)
Where are you living?
LA! My hometown. The 818 to be exact :) Hate on it all you want, but let’s not forget the weather is almost always amazing and the possibilities are endless. Yes there’s traffic, but where else can you find incredible vintage, beautiful beaches, and Erewhon within minutes of each another? I was born, raised, and decided to stay in LA for college at USC, then post-grad to work in the music industry, until now. Even after many attempts at leaving (and a few “I’m moving to NYC” parties), LA keeps pulling me back in, for so many reasons. My family is here and so are my people. I love being close to them, in nature, and with my Australian Shepherds Leo & Lola. And especially since starting a new business, I feel so lucky to have such a strong foundation and support network out here. Shoutout to my mom, dad, and brother who are always by my side and show up to almost every event! I don’t know what I would do without them!
Favorite vintage/secondhand store?
Where do I even start! Do flea markets & vintage sellers count too? My go-tos are Heart & Lou’s (Soho), Magda Violet (The queen of Italian Vintage), Morphew (LES), Junk for Joy (Burbank), Wasteland (Studio City), Current Affair, Manhattan Vintage Market, and Discovery Diary fleas of course! PRO TIP: if you’re looking for rare, authenticated, designer vintage, l highly recommend What Goes Around Comes Around. I bought my first designer bag at the Beverly Hills location — a navy blue Dior by John Galliano Monogram Saddle Bag. It’s also where I bought my all time favorite vintage purchase to this day — a mini Fendi Baguette bag covered in iridescent Swarovski crystals. It was love at first sight. And a true impulse buy. I found out afterwards that had I not snatched it, Rihanna was next in line to buy. Bye bye buyer’s remorse!

Clothing: always comfortable, colorful, and vintage or secondhand.
